browser issue

Ive been trying to figure this out for too long now–I have an html form inside a php document that handles itself with $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'], and sends the information to a MySQL database. Now, all this works fine on my Mac using Safari, and it works on a PC using IE, but for some reason nothing but the background color and the page title shows up when i try to access it with IE on my Mac. Any suggestions? Thanks.

i tried that, but im not still not sure what the solution is, that's why im in the "newbies" section

when i last posted, you had a <div> or something before <body>

thats why right away i said to validate it, because that could easily cause the problem you described.

it seems youve fixed that now.

if that didnt fix the display issues, let me know and ill take a closer look.

Thank you so much for looking at this for me. Here's the problem again, with the file links:

my form which include () header.htm and footer.htm and handles itself using $_SERVER['PHP_SELF"] works great on my Mac using Safari and on a PC using IE, but nothing shows up on the page except the correct backgroud color and page title (displayed by <title><?php echo $page_title; ?></title>) when using IE on my Mac. I've validated my script and no obvious errors are reported.

when your using the browser which causes the problem, have you tried viewing the html source?

is all the html actually there like it should be?

hey sorry, i really thought i had replyed this morning, it must not have worked. embarrassingly enough, there was a left-over comment mark (<!--) before the css link. problem solved. Thanks!
