It seems my server changed the php.ini file aa again I am getting these annoying 'Page Expired' results when I use sessions.

I am going to update the pages with:

ini_set('session.cache_limiter', 'private');

so I no longer have to worry about the correct settings in php.ini.

My question is, should I update all pages or will it be sufficient when I only update the start page with this code?

It seems NOT because I changed one page and I am no longer getting the 'expired page' on other pages. But just asking to be sure.

if your talking about the bug in IE when you use the back button after submitting a form via POST, yes you need to send that header on any page which has a form on it, or page that results from posting a form.
