Links Protection

I've some programs links in my PHP Nuke Articles, what i need is:
if any user click on the link must pop alert shows up or any script to tell him that he must register first, and he can't highlight and right click on the page to get the link. I want full restricted page. and he can't see the links after he do register he can see and download.

why would you want to even have links then?

it sounds like you need a login system. im not very familiar w/ nuke, but im sure they have plenty of login modules for it.

I know what you mean like on many Warez sites but i belive it is dont in javascript with the help of cookies

When you do stuff like this in javascript, you do realize that you can bypass all your security just by turning off javascript right?

Just like those people that insist on disabling right clicking to protect people from stealing their images.

I would find a better system for what you are trying to do.

Well you got one fundemental problem.
There's no way you can get somebody to download a file without sending the location of the file to the browser.

It always has to download from somewhere. You could maybe do something with an active x control but don'tknow much about that

I would suggest using dynamic linking. The link to the file can only be called one time.
I've seen that being done but wouldn't know how to do that.
