[Resolved] MySql update not working.

$point_add = mysql_query("UPDATE mmopro SET points=points+1 pro_off=pro_off-1 WHERE uid=$uid LIMIT 1");

PhpMyAdmin tells me this.

its removing my spaces.

all i want to do is add to the number or take away 1.

you must use single quotes around your values.

$uid = $_POST["uid"];
$points = $_POST["points"]+1;
$pro_off = $_POST["pro_off"]-1;
$point_add = mysql_query("UPDATE mmopro SET points='$points' pro_off='$pro_off' WHERE uid=$uid LIMIT 1");

That's just untrue. On the other hand you must have a , between each column assignment in the set clause.

$point_add = mysql_query("UPDATE mmopro SET points=points+1 ,
pro_off=pro_off-1 WHERE uid=$uid ");
