PHP + MySQL on Localhost

Hello,

I just installed Apache + PHP on my localhost.

i also have installed MySQL.

Rightnow I am trying to install phpMyAdmin. I guess everything is set, but where do I put the phpMyAdmin folder?

I moved it to c:\Apache\Apache2\phpMyAdmin\

But still i can't access it on http://localhost/phpMyAdmin

Do I have to move it in the BIN folder?

Is there any documentation how to install PHPMyAdmin on localhost?

phpMyAdmin is just a collection of PHP scripts. As such, it must be put in some folder under your docroot. I don't have a windows installation, but I'm going to guess it's something like
c:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\
so you could extract it into
c:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\phpMyAdmin
and get to it from
http:\localhost\phpMyAdmin

for those who may have done the above and still aren't working...

Don't forget to edit your config.inc.php file for PhpMyAdmin...

Change this:
$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = FALSE

to this:
$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = 'http://localhost/phpmyadmin/';

...or wherever the heck you put phpmyadmin under htdocs....
