PHP guestbook notification?

Hi there,

I've built myself a PHP guestbook and I would like to implement an email notification ability. Is this possible? I have tried a couple of things, but no luck. I've searched the web and cannot seem to find a solution. Hopefully, someone will have some insight?

Have you looked at the mail() function?

It all depends on who would be etting notified by email, and it you have an smtp server at your disposal
