Taking, organizing notes, snippets, etc...

Just a curiousity, but I suspect some of y'all might be doing some of these things...

Based upon something that I worked on last year and this article, I'm curious how people collect, organize, search and share their collections of notes, snippets and/or even urls.

I've been using fURL for quite awhile now and I really like it...but it certainly lacks when compared to the app in the article above.

Anyways, could I get more to the point? How do you store stuff like this?

i never used nor even thought of using a tool to manage all my notes and code. each project has its own folder with all documents and notes. to track code i use cvs/subversion.

I'm not much for sharing my notes, but for collecting, I'm keen on regular old text files, and very much love OmniOutliner from OmniGroup. Not exactly what you might be looking for, but I seem to find OO helpful in many odds & ends situations.
