session timeout?

Hi all, just a quick question. Does php itself have a session timeout setting somewhere? I have a program running sessions, but can't find anything in the program dealing with timelimits, so my next guess is php itself. Any info would be appreciated. thanks!

the directives session.gc_maxlifetime and session.cookie_lifetime can affect the length of sessions. see www.php.net/manual/en/ref.session.php
