TEXTAREA problem

Hello all,

nah, it is not kind of problem that has been discussed before. I have used search function before writing my question.

The problem is that, I have ented some text via TEXTAREA in the database but I can't reterive it.

For your kind attention, here is the code of the reterival.

echo "<TEXTAREA name=\"note\" rows=\"10\" cols=\"46\" value=".$array['note']." ></textarea></td>";

can somebody pointout my mistake? I am trying to figure it out for past 2 hours 😕

Very simply <textarea> does not use the value attribute.

<textarea attributes>content</textarea>

If text area don't use the value attribute then howcome I can extract the data from the database?

Are you saying you can extract the data from the database, but can not see it on the form?

Put the value of data between <textarea> open and closing tags as described earlier.

echo "<TEXTAREA name=\"note\" rows=\"10\" cols=\"46\">$array['note']</textarea></td>";

<textarea> does not use the value attribute.
