Line up text

Heres how it is now :
02.11.05 Webmaster ( test ) :This is just me testing this to see how it all would look if
I type a long sentence

Heres is how I want it to be :
If the sentence is long, then I want it to start a new line right below "This" and not below the time...

I would never know how long the line would be or with any word where it would start a new line...

Here is the what I am using :
$new_message = "&nbsp;<font color=\"cococo\">$today</font>&nbsp;<B><font color=\"FF0000\">Webmaster</font>&nbsp;( $login ) :</B>&nbsp;$message<br>\n";

I tried using blockquote and that sure does not work that way....

this is a html issue and has nothing to do with php really.

just make a table with two columns. one for the time, and one for the rest.

something like;

<table>
<tr>
<td><?php $today ?></td>
<td><?php $message ?></td>
</tr>
</table>

With all do respect to thorpe you could use php to format this several ways. Granted using a table would be easiest and best, but there is a other ways as well.

Such as.. Counting characters and inserting a <br>. Or if the text has line breaks in it you could use nl2br() function.

I know it is html and not php, but part of it is and that part is what I am having issues with...

ahh ok well I am just going to count chars makes my life easier, cause I didnt explaine my self right.
