I have a new server (rented) running php 4.3.8
And a simple thing like:
echo $_GET['var'];
or
echo $HTTP_GET_VARS['var'];

doesn't work.

Anyone has an ideia of what it may be?

The first thing you should do is tell your admins to upgrade. 4.3.8 is and older version, and they should be running 4.3.10.

If you absolutely positively cannot get them to upgrade (you're probably wasting your money, then), see if $REQUEST, $POST, $_SERVER, and other autoglobals are working.

Do a phpinfo() and check what's there, too. See if there's anything out of the ordinary.
