I need the soultion for this thing. I am running an Intranet, and security is not an issue:
Have a form. It posts to a new page and is displayed. If the user clicks the print icon, it prints nicely to his local printer.
I need the resulting page to have a print button on it that will effectively send the page as displayed to a printer on the network that may or may not be installed on the local client.
i can FTP "ready-to-print" files to one of these printers using a pre-written script, but i am not sure how best to accomplish this, or if this method is even feasable.
essentially all i realy need is the ability for someone to fill out a form on the Intranet and upon subimission, display the form and allow them to send it to a specific printer on the network.
Any suggestions or ideas please!
