I hope it is OK to post this here - I am just starting to learn PHP and DBs. I could do the first part myself, but the secure / pay part ? ?
I need a PHP web page that will query a MySQL database. Here is a sample of what I want at this url - http://www.ud.net/thread/ . The only change would be that the thread color would be displayed in an extra column on the results page also. I will furnish all the data for the database, but programmer needs to design the database tables to function well. Only one row of data results would be displayed on the results page.
Depending on the cost and how easily this is done, I may want three rows of results - one for the data results - one for the (results minus 1) and one row for the (results plus one). Is it possible for this to be toggled on and off ?
Another option may be for a customer to pay for use after a number of free uses - a number of results or for a period of time. Paying with Paypal may be the easiest.
I am will to pay the right person for the job, but I need some advise on how this should be set-up. Web page, results page and database set-up and working bug free before final payment. I will also need instructions so that I can update data later.
