offline error tracking...

i have a site with many users, and its been set up so that they can view reports of data captured online.

i wanted to prevent them ever seeing any error messages, and so set error_reporting(0);

i need to be able to capture any orders that would otherwise be printed to screen, and email them to myself, so i can keep an eye on whats going on.

am i making sense?

Keep error_reporting at E_ALL, and use [man]ini_set/man to set display_errors to 0.
Then use error logging to record errors, say by specifying a log file with error_log
