Cookies and results

Hi everybody

Can I do this with a cookie?

1- I do a search with my search engine
2- I go to a page with a list of the results of my search criteria
3.- I select one and see all features etc
THEN
4.- I click on a link to go back to my result page TO FIND all the results in the same list as before

If I try just linking the search page : the result page is empty with no parameters

If I use the Back Buttom I can go back to the result page and find the list correctly but sometimes I may have to click 3 or 4 backs to get there

SO I thought that maybe in a cookie I can collect the info of the search to list it again and avoid to do the search again

is this possible?

Good browser today support "tabbed browsing". I always open my links in a separate tab, and have my searchpage always available.

I think that, if the search page isn't cached (which it shouldn't IMHO), It has to be requeried.
