mysql 4.0 installed on w2k.
when type "c:\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt",then type
"c:\mysql\bin\mysql",show these information:
"ERROR 2003:can't connect to MYSQL server on 'localhost ' (10061) "

please answer my question and reply to me!

Start with mysqladmin or if you have winmysqladmin should be fine too.
