Simple Regular Expression - help!

Hi guys,

Could someone please help me out with a simple regular expression?

I need one that checks a WHOLE string to ensure that it contains numbers only?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This should do it for you:

/^\d$/

/^\d+$/

The plus sign makes it match one or more digits. You didn't say whether period or minus signs were allowed.

you could also look at these functions instead of using regex

ctype_digit()
is_numeric()

I also tried it in a ereg tester and had no luck?
