Limiting the result of a query, and then provide a "next" link...

I'm trying to limit the results of a query to a MySQL db to a certain number of results, i.e., 5 or so, but I would like it to display a link to the next 5 results and then list them, and so on.

How can this be done? I'm new to this type of thing, and have really no idea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
