php LDAPS ( secure ldap )

Dear all,

I would like to get secure connection with ldap server. Server OS is solaris 9 and ldap server is sun iplanet server. There are server and client requirements to support ldaps. I think server can support Open SSL and therefore only client requirement is required. How can I make php support ldaps ? Should I need to reinstall again to support it or this facily is default in php ??

php can support OpenSSL. But I dont know how to extract your Root CA certificate from Active Directory ( iPlanet Server). Can anybody help me ?
