where to find script to resize/crop images?

I run a dating site and users are allowed to add pictures to their profiles. I do not allow very large photos which doesnt fit in screen or size is more than 100 KB. Unfortunately, many users dont know how to resize images.

I am looking for such a script so that users can resize/crop images online than save them and upload.

I can write my own script, but I am sure there must be such a script available for downloading... I looked at hotscripts.com, but cant find what I need.

This is a great PHP this script
that uses GD. Make sure you have GD 2.0 or better.

As far as cropping goes, I recommend using this script
