Probably Stupid From Error

Well, i had down the basic form, so i wanted to make one where it would send a reply e-mail to the person using the e-mail they provided. I had it down, it send me the form they fillied out, and then it sent them a simple reply saying i received the form. But i want to make this message i send to them html. So i decided to trying a look around, and i found that you can go inbetween html and php, so i made a function, then cut out into html in the function, then back to php, hoping i would just have to call that function in the mail function.

Well it didnt work, it ended up making the message appear on the website, and then at the bottom of the message i get an error.

this is strange, if i copy and paste the code i get the same error however if i delete that line, and type the same exact thing, it works fine. i guess try typing the line manually. also, where you have $5 you will probably want to change it to \$5 so php doesnt think its a variable.

i just removed the ' from $rep = '<<<EOD and from EOD;' saved the changes and the script forwarded me to another page, so it seems to work ok now. tell your friend there shouldnt be any quotes around <<<EOD and EOD; its called heredoc syntax, can be read about here . hopefully it will work fine for you with that little change
