jumping down on a larg page

guys latly i have a small problem that i just cant find out in google
because i dont know how it is called and what to look for
so i point my eyes here in hope to find some help

i have a larg page in which there is alot of info
what i want to do is make it easyer to find this info
so i want to put some buttons at the top of the page and when u click on the button i want it to jump down on that page where ever i set it to jump

i have see alot of sites that use this scripts. plz help m out
and find 1 for m or point m to 1

you just put <a name="something"></a> at the different points you want it to jump to and at the top, a link like <a href="#something">Jump to Something</a> and the browser will move the page.

hmm i noticed that if i want to put a (jump back up) link it dosn`t work
it just jumps to the bottom of the page
how can i do the (jump up) button ???

<a name="top"></a>
at the very top of your page
and
<a href="#top">Back to Top</a>
where you want to link to the top
