None of the shared servers that host my sites allow php in the cgi-bin.
Why is that? Is php a security issue? Does it compromise the security of php to have to run in the publically accessible directory?
Do your servers support PHP in the first place?
Oh yes. Runs fine but not in the cgi-bin. I asked them and they just said the server is configured not to.
