I Didnt Know What To Call It, But Im "NOT" Looking for mysql_num_rows.

Heres What I Need
Table: userdb
Example Colums: id, level, name

3 Rows:

ID LEVEL NAME

2 70 Sam
1 10 Sally
3 1 Eric

Sally You Are ID# 1, And Ranked 2nd In The Game By Level!
Sally's Ranking: 2nd Place!

Ok My Problem, Is Getting The Rank, I Want The Database To Order By A Column (LEVEL), Then Count The Numbers Of Entrys Down Your Row Is.

this can only be done by ordering the rows in your sql query, and then counting the rows returned in PHP:

$result=mysql_query("SELECT name, level FROM table ORDER BY level)";
$i=0;
while($row=mysql_fetch_array($result)){
$i++;
echo "$row[0], you rank is $i and your level is $row[1]");
}
