[Resolved] dns still attach to the old server

Hi,hello:
I just moved my site to a new server, the domain name transfered to the new server already, but everytime I use ftp tool to access the site, I will end up going to the old server. I Ping the url of my site, the ip address is still the old server. But the content I see in the browser is from the new server. I also let my friend to ping the url of my site, but they get the ip address of the new server. How come we have different result?how can I access the new server by ftp? Anybody have any clue? Many many thanks!

if you know the ip of the new hosting, why not connect to the IP?

dns servers can take time to update, and yo uand your friend are probably pointing to different dns servers, hence the difference

You might have a left-over entry in your computer's hosts file.
