Dear all,
i'm using PHP 5.0.2/MySQL 4.1.7, both are running under Windows.
When i running phpMyAdmin (2.4.0-rc1), i get some error message like this :

"Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client".

But when i use PHP(4.4.3) and MySQL(3.x.x), that program running well.

so, what happen?

You need to set your password to be hashed the old (pre MySQL 4.1) way..
