In search of a class....

Hi,

I've been looking all around the web in search of a class/function that can cut strings (ie - substr()) but also have the funtionality to detect HTML tags in the string, and not cut the string until the tags have been closed....

I've tried thinking about how to do this... but can't think of a good way of going about it...

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
