I've just got Macromedia Studios 2004 MX with Flash professional, in Dreamweaver MX, you have the ablitly to make .php pages.

I would like to build a Message board using Dreamweaver, but have never used php before. Is there an online location where I can learn the code need to build a message board, without using an external program.

Whoa, slow down PHP maybe an easy language compared to others out there to learn but going straight into a forum isnt going to work. Yes you dont need an IDE just a simple text editor, a web server and PHP installed is the basics you need. (MySQL or some other Database is helpful also)
