Comments Script for every news post

Hi all
Just found this Forum and I think people here are well good regarding php coding.
My coding skills are demented to say the lease

Here is my Question:
I have a webpage/Fanpage (www.battlefield2.us) and I cannot get the Comments system fixed, neither can the nice people of cutenews/cutphp (address: http://cutephp/forum)

cutenews system is the newsystem I use on the page.

Today I made the decission to install a new Comments system.

So far i found plenty of Comments scripts, but most deal with comments on one particular page (like a comment system for artikles seperate for every page ) and not for every news post on one page.

Has anybody a good script or know where i can get one that is not hard to install and intigrade into the cutenews system ?

try searching for BLOG and maybe PHP on google... they are numerous and all over the internet

I think you missunderstood me:L I'm not looking for a blog or new psot system but for a script that enables me to provide my users with a comment system for each news I post

no I understood you, BLOGS allow this, and most blogs also have comment modules that can be added to them.... you want a comment system I would recommend going with something that has one built in, but if not, feel free to grab one of the modules and make that work for you.... but why do that when people already have ones that work exactly as you have so far described

Like I said my coding skills are very limited, so I'm happy that the news script on my page is woeking as I want it,
So I don;t know what you mean with grabbing the module of a blog system ... how do you doi that ?

Well you said yourself, you arent very php oriented yet... so why not take a system that does everything you need? Hence finding a blog with built in comment system, or a comment module that can easily be installed, and use that blog system vs trying to jury rigg your news script to work with some comment system or vice versa.... apples to apples, oranges to oranges, not apples to oranges.... ya know? does that make any more sense?

Okay let me be uber sepcific:

I have a News system (cutenews) that works just fine for me, this news system has also a comment system build in, but this never worked for me as in I tryed to write a comment and nothing would happen.
I tryed to fix it via the support Forum but till now nobody could help or fix it so far.

Since I want to suply my users with some form of a comment system, I thoud I install a php script that will this for me.

I have found many PHP Comments systems since than, but all these are doing is to provide a comment system that is page based not news based, as in a comment only for one Page.

I don't want to change the news system, and don't want to switch to a blog system.

I would like to locate a PHP script that I can install so my users can comment on every news.

what version of cutenews are you running? cause the way it sound son www.cutephp.com.... it has this function built into it?

v1.3.6 that is sounds this way

my friend just installed cutenews.... and it works how you are looking for.... mabe you had a bad install? can see it here

Thanks I fixed it, it was a random quote script that I had installed and that was somehow interfering with the comments script
