Need Help PHP : To convert Pdf to txt

I can generate the pdf and doc file from txt file with the help of php manual..

But i can't convert the pdf to txt and doc to txt file.. Is it possible?

Any one can Help me?

you can install on your server a package called xpdf that contains a program called pdftotext. Reads the text out of a pdf. No formatting, linebreaks, or other nicetiex however.

you might check if this package already exists on your server:

at any server prompt:

pdftotext
