Urgent help needed

Dear Friends,

I installed mysql and creaed database, while I am executing the following query

SELECT tree FROM atlastree WHERE domainname=traveluation and lang=de

I am getting the following error:

errorIllegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (sjis_japanese_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '=

what is the reason for it.

and give me solutions
