Anyone know how to call a javascript function in an html page from a php file?

Ok so I have mypage.htm and in that page is a JS function called doSomething() . Also in mypage is a bit of Flash.

Now what I would like to do is click a button in the Flash that launches the php that then calls doSomething().

Hope that all makes sense!

Can it be done? I have all my code for flash and the js all sorted, just dont know what to put in the php.

I know what you're thinking, why not just call the JS direct from Flash? Would love to but a huge bug in IE means all your animated gifs stop moving if you do that! 🙁

Any help with what to write in the php, massively appreciated 🙂
