CD Verification

I'm trying to make an enhanced cd. I have the autorun.inf file set up in the cd so that when the cd is inserted, you are taken to a registration page on my website. I need my registration page to verify that the specific cd is in the cdrom drive or they can't get to the registration page. Anyone have any ideas?

maybe with some complex java or activex stuff (and internet explorer) you could do it, but not php.
