[Resolved] getting part of a string

Ok, I'm sure that somewhere on here, there is a thread about this, but I couldnt find it, so flames are welcome.

What I would like to do is this,

I used the $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; to get the last part of the URL, it comes back with this

/policy/index.mtm

How can I just get what ever is between the "/", so I need to echo "policy"?

echo $explode[1];
