[Resolved] Displaying the first record in BOLD

Hello,

I'm outputing some rows of data to a webpage. And I need the first record displayed to be in BOLD PRINT.. but I want the rest of the records to stay normal.

How can this be done? Thanks

well lets start with the obvious.... you need code that displays your data on a web page.... so.... give us that and we'll go from there

Good good, now if you only wanted to do something once... what might be a logical approach to doing this?

nothing fancy... just keep it simple... I'm thinking 3 more lines of code will get your intended results...

and yes I am intentionally asking questions rather than answering them... its more beneficial this way believe me 😉

I actually thought I was gonna have to do 2 queries.. one for the BOLD text .. and limit it to 1 ... and then one for the rest.

I have no idea what to do... I have to have this done ASAP .. can someone show me? ... I would appreciate it greatly.. I know it's not good to just GIVE OUT code.. but I really need this done.

The idea here is from the PHP Manual entry for [man]mysql_fetch_row/man: Subsequent call to mysql_fetch_row() would return the next row in the result set, or FALSE if there are no more rows.

Ahhhhhhh That makes sense.. it would've took ME forever to figure out something which was that simple.
