iis + php

hi

i install my iis and php installer (4.3.10) on my system . i create a form that is link to php file . when i fill the form i recieve this error :

<Notice: Undefined variable: firstname in d:\Inetpub\wwwroot\handleform.php on line 8 >

after this error message i see this line :

your name is {here my firstname must be shown but it dosn't}.

my form work correctly on the server but not on my pc !

can every body help me to solve this problem ?

I had the same problem with variables not transferring through from a form. I don't think it have an error though. Try turning register_globals off in your php.ini file.
