Download problem (permissions on file)

Hi all,i have implemented a download link on a website and it all works ok and pops up the window to open with or save as when the link is clicked but once the actual file gets downloaded it cannot be opened because it throws an error of the form:

The documenta name or path is not valid.Try:
-Check the file permissions for the document or drive
-Use File open dialog box to locate the document

Anyone ever had same prroble??
Any suggestions???

More than likely the file is corrupt in the download. Are these files being uploaded via PHP? You may want to be a little more specific also, what type of files? code you have? actual errors? operating system?
