Does anyone know how can I connect to an Oracle DB? I read something about the OCI8, but I'm not sure what to do. Anyone?

It definitely works. i just used the --with-oci8=/dir/to/my/oracle/install ...
Note that if you're using Oracle 10, you'll need PHP 5.x, since the 4.x series can't seem to link against the newer oracle libs.

My buddy back in Denver is being forced to switch offa linux / unix and onto windows, poor guy. I personally haven't run windows for anything but a game platform for about 4 years now. Sorry you gotta stay on it. Maybe one day your boss will wake up and all that...
I like Windows for the desktop, not for servers.
