PHP Stalling - yesterday worked fine

Hi there,

im having some MAJOR issues with our PHP server.
Yesterday all our applications/sites were working fine, but now, all of a sudden, PHP pages take about 1 minute to process, even if they only contain simple scripts like <? echo "hello"; ?>

this runs across all our applications, its like the PHP server itself is dying... I have tried restarting the server multiple times and re-installing PHP [using version 4.3... current version] and it still makes no difference !!!\

HELP !!!
I have no idea where to start...
I have cleared the PHP.ini and restored the original..
reinstalled PHP...
checked logs and stuff but everything seems to be A-Ok... accept for the processing times, even if I execute the script from the server itself looking over localhost it still takes forever....

PLEASE HELP !!!!

oh, the server that I am running is W2k3 with IIS 6.0, PHP 4.3

What are the CPU and Memory Levels at? When was the last time the actual server itself not IIS got rebooted? Windows 2003, well all windows will need to be rebooted every couple of days. You may want to check what processes are running and the CPU and Memory Usage just to make sure there arent programs running hogging memory.

Also before you noticed it, were there any memory, cpu intensive programs running before it?

Anyways like I said just reboot the server itself and see if that all helps, if not run Anti Virus Program to see if you have a virus.

yeah, I had already checked this...

processor usage doesn even lift off zero when I execute the page, and the server is highly spec'ed for its use.

Im running some anti-virus now, so far no viri

hmmm, any other ideas?
