Tracking changes to an SQL Server database

I want to mimic the function of an application that enters data into a database, so we can have external access through the internet. Is there a tool (We are using SQL server 7) that i can monitor the changes in the database? so when the data is inputted, the changes in the tables can be monitored and that existing triggers are executed?

you could create a logging table that gets filled from a trigger on a table. You could input row number, user id and timestamp
