I am trying, and failing I might add, to build a rpm for php 4.3.10. I can build the code without issues manually, but trying to build an rpm has given me a giant headache.
Hardware: x86
Distro: RedHat AS 2.1 e.49-enterprise kernel
Oracle client libs: 9.2.0.4
using nsapi not apache http :queasy:
Mysql, libxml, expat, bzip2 and all the necessary dependencies are at the current RH AS 2.1 patch level. Since php that is on RedHat's site is 4.1.2.xxx (xxx =some sort of crazy back porting of patchs), the app group wanted to use the latest php source code. I am wondering if anyone has any success trying to build a similar rpm. Any help would be appreciated
