displaying data from multiple tables

i have two tables. the first is a table of club names. the second is the union names. i want to display all of the clubs under the union they belong to in the following format:

Union1
Club1
Club2
Club3

Union2
Club4
Club5

and so on...i am getting all wrapped up in where to use GROUP BY and loops. while we are at it how do you add a third level to all of that. the club table has a union_id field(foreign key) as well if that helps. i am good in access but not php/mysql....but i will get there. thanks for your help.

you didn't mention anything about which RDBMS you are using nor your exact data structure so this is purley a guess at your table/field names:

got it working.....some formatting issues but i should be able to work through those! thanks.
