what i'd like to see is MORE INFO about activex controls and applets. when you ratchet up your security, you get all these prompts: do you want to run active x controls on this page? and yet you have NO CLUE as to what application or applet might be running or what it's trying to do or what domain it's coming from,
etc.

seems like common sense to me.

Didn't they mean to say "embrace and extend"? (Noting that one of the editors of the CSS2 spec is a Microsoft staffer.)

Whatever IE7 is, I think we should embrace as an improvement to something that is pretty crappy. Perhaps there will be slightly less crap. But I really do hope that IE7 has full support for CSS2. That would make me happy.

thanks for that link. i know some folks don't care, but how much fun would it be if every developer on planet earth were to petition that particular page for M$ to support CSS2? Maybe they'd make an effort then.

Firefox will rule all!!

You can download a browser that doesn't crash every 5 minutes, a browser that displays CSS correctly and ofcourse a browser that doesn't overload your computer with spyware everytime you open it from here: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

No update for IE is going to fix all of its many many problems. If anything, it'll create more problems and if it doesn't then the tos*ers of the internet will.
