Form Results posted to page with indicator

Ok here's the task:

I would like the results of a form submission to be posted to a particular page. AND I need another page to say something like:

You have __ messages vailable and when you click on it you go to the page with the form results. It must be able to hold multiple submissions from the form in the order as they were posted.

any help?

one page will only post its form variables to another page within the scope of the two pages.

The solution you are looking for involves posting your initial results to a database (or flat file if you must)

then you have the third page that pulls those posted results back out of the database to say you have x messages
