Troubles on IIS

HI,
am using the webserver IIS (Windows XP Professional SP2).
and i have downloaded and installed the (php-5.0.3-installer) from the php.net website ...
as well as i have downloaded and installed (mysql-4.1.10a-win32) from the MySQL website (mysql.net) ...
now whenever i want to connect to the MySQL with PHP script [i.e. mysql_connect("...etc ...] i get the follwoing result:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\index.php on line 3

therefor i went to the mysql website, and they have instructed me to go and download the extenssions, so i went to the following page:
http://ca.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysql.php
and there i found :
In order to have these functions available, you must compile PHP with MySQL support.

and now am stuck ..!!!

maybe what i have did helps .. explaining where i have reached ..
please help me to get the PHP pages works with the MySQL ...!!

starting with PHP5, the mySQL extension is not enabled by default. read up on Installation of extensions on Windows.

thanks for the reply,
i want to tell you that i did not find the whole folder Extensions in the PHP directory on in any place at my computer ...!!
it seems the Windows installer of PHP5 dosent install the Extension, but you can see in the first page of PHP website, that the installer also can configure MySQL and PHP to work fine ..
any way ..
please can you tell me where can i get all the contents of the folder Extensions ..?! and after i place them in the folder PHP, is it enught to go to the php.ini and just remove the ";" from before the extensions ..?

you should download the PHP 5.0.3 zip package, not the PHP 5.0.3 installer. the zip package has all of the extensions.
