enabling my mailserver in php.ini...

I got this code in my php.ini file, and I am not sure what to place for "yourisp"? This is for winXP inorder to enable my mail server.

My Internet Service provider(ISP) is (COMCAST). Me and my other two roomates share the connection through a router. My roomate is the one who set up the router. Is my ISP something I can get from my roomate?

If you have an e-mail account provided by your ISP just put there an SMTP server for this e-mail (you should have this information from ISP). In sendmail_from put your e-mail address. I'm not shure if it will work with SMTP authentication though.

I have no e-mail account provided through my ISP provider as far as I know. How can I find out. Can I create my own?

You can use some free e-mail account but as far as I know they all use SMTP authentication. I solve this problem by using mailer scripts instead of mail() (I use PHPMailer) that can cope with SMTP authentication. Then you'd have to sign for some free e-mail account. While doing this you'll be presented with information like SMPT server (user id and password are usually the same for pop3 and smtp).

Well, I do have a yahoo account. However, for using the mailer script instead of mail(), I have to do some more reading about it since I am new to php and I am following a book along that is asking me to use mail(). But ofcourse I am open to new ideas, but the books examples are using mail() if I want to follow it along.
