I'm still trying to convert some ASP into php, so I'm curious about any functions for random, and what the equivalent of the Randomize and Random functions are...

You don't really have to use srand, though, as it's done automatically. mt_rand_max() will tell you the highest value it can return.

Might be an idea to download the manual and browse the function reference, it's essential.

For rand you use:

$number = rand(0,100);

0 is the minimum number
100 is the maximum number
