Strange and Alarming: A tale of confusion

Okay i have a strange and alamring problem. I have a web form that people fill out and it goes into a mysql database. However randomly and thankfully not very often, the oldest entry in the database will populate the form.. Now the page with the form does not actually have any mysql select statements on it, it does its data moving through sessions... this latest time the data just appeared when i hit reload.. i tried modifying the db record then hit reload on the page again and it updated to reflect the changes... Because i hit the reload and becuase there are no mysql select statements on that page i am at a loss for how the data gets updated. This happens both on my local developemnt box and on my hosted site.. I have verified it does this on computers other than my own....

Any ideas?

Ok, the form is on one page (.htm or .php?) and the response (action="...") is a different page. What happens after the mysql insert/update (whatever) code? Is there a re-direct, or a message or what?

Also, you say that the data is 'moved' through sessions ... can you expand on your method for doing that.

Paste up some code.
