get domain

greetings,

is there a way i can get the real domain of a subdomain host ?
for example. i have subdomain.domain.com.ph . how will i get the domain.com.ph ? I have a script found on the php.net using a preg_match. but it only get the last 2 name, so the output will became com.ph, not domain.com.ph . Anyone already have this script ? 🙂

strstr() might do it:

$fulldomain = "subdomain.domain.com.ph";
$domain = strstr($fulldomain,".");

thanks, you gave me an idea. I will add a preg match, since the url is something lke this http://www.subdomain.domain.com.ph or http://subdomain.domain.com.ph 🙂
