Newbie needs help

I have no idea what to do. I use cPanel and I downloaded it from there. I want php on my whole web site and I have no idea what to do. I don't know nothing about SQLDatabase or Apache. I feel bad asking but I really want to learn and to convert my site. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

you might be best just installing something like xxamp , it installs php, mysql, apache, and a bunch of other stuff to get you started.

Thanks but as far as I know I have Apache, and all that stuff on my site already. I put a gallery up that required some stuff and it works so ???

Okay I downloaded PHP Nuke here. I am not sure if this is the right PHP thing to download. Also I need it with my subdomains does that mean I need to install it a couple of times?

I feel really dumb right now. I tried the tut but I really didn't understand it. Basically I just want it on my site and I am not sure how to do it. I believe a friend of mine went through and changed the htm to php but I don't know if that works or not.

I run a fanlisting, and a couple of fan sites where I want fans to be involved. I believe I need php to do this. Anyway I am really grateful for the help.

Oh no! I feel really dumb now. I think I figured it out. But maybe not... anyway do I just use the place I downloaded php to as my main folder? And then just go from there?
